I don’t know about you but I love the nostalgia of a good carnival. On a recent trip to Maine, we ran into a carnival in the town of Biddeford. Carnivals really come to life at night time and this one was no exception. The food stands and trucks were particularly interesting— outstandingly nostalgic. The cotton candy - or candy floss (as we call it in Ireland) - was no letdown. I took this shot while we were standing in line to get some. There’s so much going on it tells a multi-layered story of choice, anticipation, and the richness of life.
